2022 Community Grants Awards: $210,074.46

  • Cass County 4H Association, $49,842.00 for a new tractor

  • Emmaus Mission Shelter, $30,920.00 a portico sheltering the food pantry distribution area.

  • Lewis Cass Band Boosters, $15,863.51 for new percussion instruments and a soundboard.

  • State Theatre preservation Society, $12,056.75 for completion of the MSRP Marquee project and lobby flooring.

  • Young America Volunteer Fire Department, $28,158.00 for new e-hydraulic extrication tools

  • Junior Civic Theater, up to $40,000 to install new flooring in their building.

  • Total awards for 2022 Competitive Grants are $176, 840.26.

  • Total  2022 Opportunity Grants are $33,234.20

*Emmaus has asked for $27,195.20 and was going to use existing funds for the remainder of the project. The committee felt strongly that CCCF should fund the entire project and allow Emmaus to use the funds already collected to purchase more food.


2021 Community Grants Awards: $205,647.50

  • Cass County 4H Association, $30,400 for a new sound system.

  • Emmaus Mission Shelter, $25,700 for remodel of homeless shelter  flooring

  • Cass County Humane Society, $28,917 for air filtration ($11,000)Front entry($6459) and new cause for Paws area ($11,458)

  • Logansport Parks Foundation, $20,000 for the “grand entry way” to Fairview Playground.

  • Twelve Mile Community Building, $30,000 new signage

  • Weekday Religious Education, $20,000 in matching dollars for new bus.

  • Young America Lions Club, $16,000 for a permanent building at the fair grounds

  • Total awards for 2021 Competitive Grants are $171,017.00.  

  • Total 2021 Opportunity Grants are $34,630.50

2020 Community Grants Awards: $168,287.94

  • The Salvation Army, $18,000 for a pavilion  

  • Cass County 4H Association, $35,000 for a new septic system.  

  • State Theatre Preservation Society, $20,340 for new HVAC Equipment.  

  • Lewis Cass Alumni Association, $17,500 in matching funds to support construction of a community pavilion  

  • Cass County Historical Society, $61,135 for flooring throughout the first floor of the new museum building.

  • Total awards for 2020 Competitive Grants are $151,975.  

  • Total 2020 Opportunity Grants are $16,312.94

 

2019 Community Grants Awards: $187,584

  • Emmaus Mission Food Pantry, $36,000 for a walk-in commercial freezer.

  • Cardinal Services, $10,444 for support of their Experience the Workplace Program for disabled clients. 
  • Logan’s Landing, $16,140 for completion of the “Immigration Sculpture” to be placed in Heritage Park.

  • Camelot Care Center, $50,000 for a new playground dedicated to disabled children/specifically designed for children who are wheelchair restricted. 

  • Cass County 4H Association, $50,000 to be awarded over two years for the new restrooms between the merchants building.

  • Cass County Family YMCA, $25,000 for the Campaign to Remodel the YMCA. Grant to be made from Phase VII match dollars and at $.50 for every dollar donated.

2018 Community Grant Awards: $59,349.51

  • Servants At Work (SAWS)---  For work with juvenile detention in building and installing handicap ramps in Cass County---$8,000

  • Emmaus Mission Center--- For a forklift to use at the food pantry. $10,900

  • (Request was for $8,900 but committee felt they should use the donations in hand for food and other necessities). 

  • Cass County 4H Association –-- For Goat/Sheep Barn Renovations $27,921

  • (Request was for $21,587 but committee felt donations already in hand could be used to finish other projects.)

  • State Theatre Preservation Society--- For new audio/sound equipment update $12,528.51

  • American Red Cross-  for 250 smoke detectors---$3,000.00
